Dr. Galea Salomone read law at the University of Malta and graduated as a lawyer in 2002. He holds a Bachelor's degree in International Business and Master's degree in European Studies from the University of Kent, and is currently a partner at the law firm Galea Salomone Advocates. His areas of specialisation include company law and financial services, with a specific focus on corporate governance.

Dr Galea Salomone has extensive experience advising public listed companies and private companies on regulatory and corporate governance aspects, and acts as company secretary for a number of public listed companies in Malta.
